Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

1. This gift voucher can be deemed on network.activitar.com or on www.activitar.com but not on any other *.activitar.com domain. It can only be redeemed for the same service that it was purchased for.

2. The method of redemption is to enter the voucher code into the voucher code field on the check-out screen. The system will then apply the value of the voucher (the price of the voucher plus the value of discount received that the time of its purchase) against the purchase price of the service at the time of purchase. Should the voucher be redeemed in a later season where the selling price of the service has been raised by e.g. 10%, the 10% will be outstanding and will need to be paid for online at the time of the purchase.

3. This gift voucher purchase is a non-refundable purchase. It will not be refunded for any cause, but is a currency in the hands of the holder and could be passed on to a third party. See below regarding transferability.

4. This gift voucher by its nature is transferable. Therefore anyone who has the voucher code can redeem it. The voucher can be redeemed only once of course and therefore please ensure that your voucher code is kept secure.

5. This gift voucher is valid for three years.

Note this voucher is offered by Activitar, so the underlying service provider will only be able to assist you once you have made use of the voucher code to book the service.

Service Terms and Conditions

WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

OWN RISK
All guests, clients participate in the tours/activities at own risk.

CANCELLATION OF ACTIVITY
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS operates in diverse and changeable weather conditions and all tours and activities are subject to these conditions.

Management reserves the right to cancel any activity due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to, unavailability, insufficient passengers and/or unfavourable weather conditions. Clients will be assisted in rescheduling affected bookings. If booking cannot be rescheduled, the nett booking price (see refunds) will be refunded within 45 days.

In case of a weather cancellation, weather conditions are judged exclusively by the Management of WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS and guests must report for the activity unless notified by WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS.

REFUNDS
There will be no refunds in the event of a no-show by guest on the activity date.
In the event of an amendment not received 3 days prior to activity booked, the guest will still be responsible for the full cost for the total number of passengers originally confirmed.
• 30 days cancellation before arrival: 100% refund
• 15 - 29 days cancellation before arrival: 75% refund
• 4 - 14 days cancellation before arrival: 50% refund
• 24 hrs - 3 days cancellation before arrival: 0% refund
• If this product is bought as a Voucher or Gift Voucher then a 0% refund policy applies.

RE-ROUTING OF TOURS
In the unlikely event that WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS does not have access to specific area of the booked service or voucher on the day of the tour then WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS retains the right to re-route affected tours accordingly.

ARRIVAL AT VENUE
Kindly ensure you arrive at the venue 30 minutes before your tour departure time. Should you arrive later, your tour may be forfeited and not refunded or rescheduled. If however you contact us before your tour commencement time, we may be able to make alternate arrangements. Timeously means well beforehand.

LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY PROPERTY OF THE CLIENT
The owners and managers of WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS cannot be held liable or responsible for any loss or damage of any belongings or property of the clients.

INDEMNITY
All clients will be required to sign an indemnity before ANY tour takes place.

COVID-19 AND ANY OTHER PANDEMIC DISCLAIMER
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS cannot be held liable for any operational changes, cancellations or consequential damages incurred by you in the event that any activity/tour are not able to operate as planned, including any disruptions, cancellations or changes to planned schedules.

You agree that it is your personal decision to take a tour and that you are doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions with regard to the risk of COVID-19 / OTHER PANDEMIC, with you having taken full personal responsibility to inform yourself in relation thereto. WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS does not assume any responsibility for and shall not be liable for any unsafe conditions or health hazards, including pandemics or other illnesses to which you may be exposed WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS is not responsible for the acts or omissions of travel suppliers, including the failure by the travel suppliers to adhere to their own schedules, provide services or refunds or their failure to honour any future trip credit.

Please note that most insurance policies have a specific clause stating that they do not cover epidemics and pandemics, especially when travel warnings are in place. It would be advisable for you to take advice from an insurance broker should you have any queries regarding the appropriateness of a travel insurance policy. WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS shall not be liable for your election not to purchase insurance nor shall the Agency be liable to you for any denial of any claim by a travel insurer as it relates to COVID-19 / OTHER PANDEMIC or any other claim under the relevant policy.

In case a tour/activity is rescheduled or postponed due to COVID-19 / OTHER PANDEMIC , WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS will assist the client with rebooking at NO extra charge. If the client wishes to cancel his/her activity/tour – refer to our refund and cancellation policy.

All refunds are subject to the cancellation policy of the relevant third-party service provider. In the event that the third-party service provider is able to provide a refund, you will be required to complete and submit a refund consent form, provided by us. We may charge a reasonable service fee of up to 15% for any cancellations and/or refunds processed. This will exclude third-party cancellation policy costs. We will endeavour to process all refunds within 45 days.

All tour prices are subject to change without prior notice.

PAYGENIUS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS is a business in the outdoor adventure industry.

CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, ‘personal information’ shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, credit cards for online bookings. Bank transfers or cash will only be accepted for direct bookings into the bank account of VISIT PATERNOSTER, the details of which will be provided on request.

CREDIT CARD ACQUIRING AND SECURITY
Credit card transactions will be acquired for VISIT PATERNOSTER who are the approved payment gateway.

CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPARATE FROM CARD DETAILS
Customer detail will be stored by VISIT PATERNOSTER separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGenius’s security site. (Detail: www.paygenius.co.za)

MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the card holder is South Africa and the transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

RESPONSIBILITY
VISIT PATERNOSTER takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

COUNTRY OF DOMICILE
This website is governed by the applicable laws of South Africa and WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice or other documents or communications of whatever nature.

VARIATION
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARIS may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
