Take a stroll along the Hol River, through the fynbos and indigenous forest with our well-trained horses and experienced guides.
Guided horse trail
Riding hats are compulsory and are provided.
Please be at the stables at least 15 minutes before your riding time as we leave promptly at the allocated time. If you are late the ride will still return at the scheduled time and will be cut short.
If you are more than 15 minutes late then your ride will be canceled and no refund given.
Our trail ride prices are the same for both adults and children.
We have handlers for the less experienced riders and children that do not wish to ride the horse on their own. Children may not share a ride with an adult on one horse.
Ages six and older can ride on their own, depending on their riding skills and comfort. If not, they will be on a lead rein behind one of our guides.
Children under the age of six will be offered lead-rein pony rides under supervision around the farm.
That was a really great experience. The landscape is wonderful - it goes through forests, fields and mountains. My guide - Watson - did a great job...informative, kind and funny! The horses look well cared for. The hooves are done. The equipment fits. I would be happy to book another ride! - Stefanie Weber
