I had such a fantastic time at Gunnery Arms and Ammo. My review summary is as follows: - The business is very accommodating and let me choose a custom firearm experience and add an additional shooter to the experience so my wife could also join. - The range is a 11 meter indoor range, adequate for learning or training with firearms. Only downside is it lacks the same enjoyment factor that an outdoor range can bring. - The staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and always keen to chat. - The shooting range experience I did was fantastic. My instructor went above and beyond to give me some firearm history related to my chosen firearms as well as teaching my wife and myself the basics of shooting. - The business has a large range of both modern and historical firearms for you to choose from. I would definitely recommend coming here to try out a shooting experience! Longer version: I don't often get to visit shooting ranges. Thus far I've only done so on my birthdays to celebrate. I've tried out both the Clay pigeon adventures at Lourensford and this one as of now. Despite Lourensford having a stunning outdoor range, I have to say that I enjoyed my experience at Gunnery Arms and Ammo more! Naturally, it depends heavily on what sort of experience you are looking for. I enjoy both historical weapons and having a slower more interactive experience, and seeing as I do not own a firearm of my own, the shooting range experience is the only way for me to get that. Our instructor was Selwyn and he absolutely blew us both away with his knowledge and his ability to teach. I feel like I learned a lot about how to shoot, as well as got a really interactive history lesson from him as I worked through each firearm. He was willing to let us ask as many questions as we want, I particularly liked that he allowed me to prepare some of the firearms to shoot, by allowing me to insert the magazine and rack the slide. This was far more interactive than my previous shooting experiences, and it increased my enjoyment of it immensely. Lastly, what sets this place aside from other places offering shooting experiences is the large range of weapons that they have available. They have a nice mix of fun, modern weapons as well as some older platforms with some history behind them. I will definitely be coming back here to shoot some more and would highly recommend you to try them out if you also like a more interactive and educational shooting experience like me. - Simon
