On Sundays, we include a visit to a Township Gospel Church (approximately 45 minutes) into our regular Township Tour. This is our most popular tour and seats are limited at church we immense you to the Gospel singing and dancing
Church is an important part of social life in township communities and a great reflection of the social cohesion existing in the Township communities we have built relationships with a number of churches in different communities we invites you to attend an uplifting South African gospel experience with a vibrant and dynamic young congregation
Here the warm welcome of the congregation and their vibrant voices, will echo in your heart, long after you have left Cape Town.
Please Note: from the start of the holiday season in summer many people in township communities go back home in rural Eastern Cape mostly as such churches have fewer members of the congregation and resolve to one service commencing at 8 AM. We have no control of the church service how long praise and worship session will last for start and end time of the praise and worship session. The church experience is real not staged

The organization is absolutely flawless: we were picked up right on time from our hotel, got to experience a short part of a deeply moving church service, and then went on a walking tour through Langa. Our fantastic, experienced guide explained beautifully how Langa originated and why the residents truly love living here. It completely opened our eyes and gave us a wonderful, much clearer perspective on what a "township" really is. The entire experience felt 100% safe, deeply inspiring, and eye-opening. Our tour to township Langa with the gospel choir was fantastic! The driver picked us up at the right time and took us to Langa, where we were expecting in the Church. Amazing to be with the gospelchoir. After that a guide took us into the township. He told about his life there and we went into a few houses. It was hartbreaking how the people survive here. It was an honour to see, feel and learn about the life in the townships and the positivite spirit of the people in Langa. The values of a community and taking care of each other is something beautiful we may learn from in Belgium. Experienced a lot of friendly, positive and warm people. Also Godfrey was a really nice and good guide. These tours are a unique chance to meet each other as a human being and maybe in the future this will lead to understanding and equality instead of fear and apartheid. So I can only be positive about these tours, infact it's a must when you're in Cape Town because the townships reflect the real spirit of Capetown and South Africa. - Heidi

This tour was a wonderful experience. We witnessed Gospel singing and celebration and were allowed to be part of the congregation. We were made to feel very welcome. This was followed by a guided tour of Langa township . This is a must do for anyone trying to understand and appreciate modern South Africa and the challenges it faces . - Colm
