This is a deep-dive experience into the world of the ‘weskus’ and specific Paternoster. You will be hosted by local fishermen at the Paternoster Hotel. Guests will receive a unique cultural ‘weskus’ food experience: how to clean and prepare crayfish, bokkoms, fish and mussels.This is a once in a lifetime experience to enjoy with real Weskus Fishermen and to experience the way they have prepared food for generations. Salads, rice and Roosterkoek will be included. Drinks not included, but cash bar available.
Combine this food experience with a tasting experience: wine, brandy, beer, gin or champagne.
NOTE: You can arrange for a different timeslot
This is fun for the whole family and everyone needs to join in. Yes, you might get dirty and you might eventually end up smelling like a bokkom, but that is all part of the experience. A tip or two for the locals after your dinner will also be much appreciated.
