The National Park is a malaria-free zone and was established in 1979. Located in the North West province of South Africa. Adjacent to Sun City Resort the park is encircled by four beautiful rings of hills that were the result of a 1.2-billion-year-old volcanic crater. At 55 000 hectares, Pilanesberg is the fourth largest national park in the country and home to a number of game species including Africa’s Big animals and more than 365 bird species.
6:30 Pick up from hotel or residence in Johannesburg or Pretoria in comfortable and Air-conditioned vehicle.
8:30-9:00 Arrive in Pilanesberg National Park to begin safari game drive in an open vehicle (4X4).
12:30 Light lunch in Pilanesberg included in a package.
15:00 Finish game drive and exit the park.
15:30 Drive back to Johannesburg or Pretoria.
17:30-18:00 Drop off.
