Get up close to lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo and more…Game drives are conducted on our 5,500-hectare Rietspruit Big 5 Game Reserve, which is home to a huge variety of wildlife with wide-ranging views of the beautiful Drakensberg Mountain Range and Blyde River Canyon. Jump aboard our open safari vehicles with our knowledgeable guides, either in the early mornings or late afternoons and encounter animals species such as lions, elephants, cheetah, leopard, African wild dog, both black and white rhino as well as a host of general game. Due to our close proximity to Hoedspruit, we are able to offer non-resident guests the chance to join us for game drives. Pre-booking is essential.
We do not typically allow children under the age of 6 years old on shared vehicles. It is recommended that parents make use of our baby-sitting service or alternatively pre-book a private vehicle.
The below pricing is exclusive to our overnight guests only and includes the 2-3 hour safari with a professional guide and selected drinks and snacks. Private vehicle bookings are subject to availability and preferably booked in advance.

We had a great experience on the safari. The guide and the tracker were knowlidgeble and gave us a lot of information. We were lucky to run into some lions which we could study for quite some time. Khaya Ndlovu is a great park for a gamedrive and the mansion is a very nice place to enjoy a great breakfast, lunch or dinner with awesome views over the surrounging area up to the Klein Drakensberg escarpment. - Richard
