We really enjoyed our visit to Vredenheim. Unfortunately we arrived a bit late because my daughter had fractured her ankle a couple of days before and we were finding it much harder to move around. Because we arrived late, we didn't see the big cat feed which we were very disappointed about but when we phoned earlier to explain our lateness, the lady we spoke to went above and beyond by offering to transfer our booking to another day so that we could attend the feed. Unfortunately we didn't have any other free days before we were due to return to the UK. We absolutely loved our game drive! The kids enjoyed their goodie bags, while we sipped our picnic wine and listened to our incredibly knowledgeable guide. He told us all about the different buck, emu and zebra. My daughter was even accommodated in the front of the vehicle as she couldn't manage the climb up to where we all were. I would definitely recommend this experience, we had a fabulous time despite the broken ankle. - Christine

It was a wonderful experience and the tour at feeding time for the lions were exceptional and the guide was very knowledgeable and connected with the crowd. I would recommend Vredenheim to all for a visit. It's beautiful, tranquil and the restaurant also very good. We will see you again. - Hester
