Climb aboard Vredenheim’s new game drive vehicle for an experience of our estate like no other, taking you on a guided tour through our game fields, cattle paddocks, fruit orchards and alongside our Big Cats Park.
Your journey will take you into the heart of Vredenheim’s farming operations with a hour educational tour to learn more about our game and cattle farming and Big Cats Park sanctuary. An unmatched experience in the Stellenbosch winelands!
The tour is more or less an hour and half and includes a bottle of Vredenheim wine per couple, cheese and our South African traditional Droewors (dried meat) that can be enjoyed on the game drive or at home. Every child receives a sweets bag with a bottle of juice. The game drive is a guided tour and includes the Big cats and the Animal Farm.

Vredenheim was absolutely beautiful. I was especially taken with the cats; they were so lovely to see how they were fed. They are such beautiful animals. Afterwards, we drove to the farm and saw lots of animals. Jessica, in particular, was a very sweet animal, and the other animals were also really lovely, kept in such a natural environment. I also tasted a wine that was very good, and I bought a bottle afterwards. It's truly a beautiful park that anyone near Stellenbosch or Cape Town should visit. - Monika

Firstly what a beautiful place , clean and well organised. The staff and services are 10/10. The family and I enjoyed our day with the cats and other animals. The tour guide is very knowledgeable about the animals and has this great connection with them. I was also amazed at how he knew some of their personalities. We had an absolutely amazing experience on our tour, I took my father who has Cancer and 8 month Old baby boy and it did them the world of good... Also my sons school theme for the week was wild animals... The place is beautiful and neat, animals are super healthy and very well cared for, one can see they are perfectly content where they are... The staff are super professional, passionate, friendly and have so much knowledge to share, there was never a dull moment... Our actual game drive tour guide was amazing and drove the vehicle super carefully and also introduced my boy to George the Water Buffalo. Our gift bags were super cute and the staff even went out of their way to even make one for my son (baby friendly). We will most certainly be returning and will spread the word about this wonderful place and what good hard work they are doing. - Zandalee
