Service Terms and Conditions

We’re excited to have you join us for a memorable adventure. Please take a moment to review our terms and conditions, to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Rates and Identification
Our special rates are available to RSA / Namibian citizens. If you don’t have a RSA ID / SADC Passport, please note there will be a difference in fare, which will be applicable at the time of booking and entry into the Reserve. Your guide will return your ID, to you on entry.
International guests don’t need to present their passport or ID at the Cape Point Nature Reserve entrance, your guide will take care of the entry process for you.

Participation & Responsibility
All guests participate at their own risk, and we advise everyone to ride responsibly.
All guests must attend the pre-tour Safety Briefing and E-Bike riding assessment.
If, due to negligence, any damage occurs to the E-Bike, the guest will be held responsible for the repair costs, which will be determined by our team. We’ll provide invoices within 14 days and will refund any amounts if damages are overestimated.
Children
We’re happy to welcome older children on our tours, as long as they’re able to ride a bicycle confidently and are 13 years of age and at least 1.3m tall. Children also need to ride responsibly, follow the road rules and listen to our guides’ instructions along the way.
If you’d like to bring a younger child (12 years and under), we have child seats available at a small extra cost. Please note that the parent or guardian riding the E-Bike is fully responsible for their child, while travelling together on the rear seat.
A parent or guardian will also need to sign our waiver and indemnity, on behalf of any child joining the tour.

Alcohol & Drugs
Because Cape Point Nature Reserve forms part of Table Mountain National Park, please note that drinking alcohol in the Reserve is strictly prohibited by SANParks. It’s also against the law to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances in the Reserve, as this violates the rules enforced by both SANParks and the City of Cape Town.
For your safety - and the safety of others - going on our tour under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not allowed. It poses a danger to you, your fellow riders and the other visitors enjoying the Reserve.
If our team suspects that a guest is under the influence, we reserve the right to stop them from joining the tour. In these cases, guests may also forfeit their booking without a refund.

Weather & Cancellation Policy
Cape Point E-Bike Tours operates in an outdoor environment and our tours are designed to be enjoyed in a variety of weather conditions.
Management reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule tours due to unforeseen circumstances including unsuitable weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, guide availability, or insufficient guest numbers.
Guests should please report for their scheduled tour unless notified otherwise by Cape Point E-Bike Tours.
If a tour needs to be cancelled by Cape Point E-Bike Tours, guests will be offered the option to:
• Reschedule their experience to an available alternative date; or
• Receive a credit voucher valid for 12 months.
A cash refund does not apply where a tour cannot proceed due to weather or safety conditions, as preparation costs and operational arrangements may already have been incurred.
