Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

1. This gift voucher can be deemed on network.activitar.com or on www.activitar.com but not on any other *.activitar.com domain. It can only be redeemed for the same service that it was purchased for.

2. The method of redemption is to enter the voucher code into the voucher code field on the check-out screen. The system will then apply the value of the voucher (the price of the voucher plus the value of discount received that the time of its purchase) against the purchase price of the service at the time of purchase. Should the voucher be redeemed in a later season where the selling price of the service has been raised by e.g. 10%, the 10% will be outstanding and will need to be paid for online at the time of the purchase.

3. This gift voucher purchase is a non-refundable purchase. It will not be refunded for any cause, but is a currency in the hands of the holder and could be passed on to a third party. See below regarding transferability.

4. This gift voucher by its nature is transferable. Therefore anyone who has the voucher code can redeem it. The voucher can be redeemed only once of course and therefore please ensure that your voucher code is kept secure.

5. This gift voucher is valid for three years.

Note this voucher is offered by Activitar, so the underlying service provider will only be able to assist you once you have made use of the voucher code to book the service.

Service Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment
● Deposit: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
● Full Payment: Full payment must be received 30 days prior to the tour/activity date.
● Payment Methods: We accept payments via accepted methods: credit/debit cards, bank transfer, Cash.
● Booking Confirmation: Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit and/or full payment and issuance of a confirmation email/voucher.

2. Cancellations and Refunds
● Cancellations by Customer:
○ Cancellations made more than 15 days prior to the tour/activity date may receive a refund of 100 % of the total price.
○ Cancellations made between 7 days and 5 days prior to the tour/activity date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
○ Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the tour/activity date will receive no refund.
○ No-shows will be charged the full price of the tour/activity.
● Cancellations by Company:
○ We reserve the right to cancel a tour/activity due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, insufficient bookings, etc.). If we cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

3. Changes and Modifications
● Itinerary Changes by Company: We reserve the right to make changes to the tour/activity itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. We will endeavor to provide alternative arrangements of similar value.
● Changes Requested by Customer: We will try to accommodate reasonable changes requested by you, subject to availability and any additional costs.

4. Insurance
● Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage, medical expenses, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation.

5. Liability
● Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that participating in tours/activities may involve inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur.
● Waiver of Liability: You agree to release and hold harmless Precious Travels Africa, its employees, and agents from any liability, claims, or damages arising from your participation in the tour/activity.
● Company's Liability: Our liability is limited to the total price paid for the tour/activity. We shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

6. Health & Safety
● Physical Fitness: You acknowledge that our tours/activities may require a certain level of physical fitness. It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit
enough to participate.
● Medical Conditions: Please inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your participation.
● Compliance with Instructions: You agree to follow the instructions of our guides and staff at all times for your safety and the safety of others.

7. Photography & Filming
● Promotional Use: You grant us permission to use any photographs or videos taken during the tour/activity for promotional purposes, unless you express otherwise in writing.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
● Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of [Insert governing jurisdiction].
● Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation, arbitration with the Tourism Boards of South Africa.

9. Acceptance of Terms
● By booking a tour/activity with Precious Travels Africa, you signify your agreement to and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
