Activity Description

The Cape Peninsula tour encompasses magnificent beaches, breath-taking views, and picturesque villages on this spectacular coastline. From the city through to Clifton and Camps Bay on the Atlantic seaboard, an optional boat ride in Hout Bay to Seal Island, onto scenic Chapmans Peak Drive (if open) and into the Cape of Good Hope Reserve and Cape Point. A visit to the Boulders Penguin Colony and an optional lunch in Simons Town.

Clifton & Camps Bay
Drive along the Atlantic seaboard and take in the stunning ocean views of Clifton and Camps Bay beach. The Camps Bay Strip offers sea facing restaurants, cafes, and a lively street scene.

Chapmans Peak
Drive along 114 curve, 9 km Chapmans Peak Drive. This is one of the most scenic drives with towering mountains and sheer drops into the ocean below.

Cape Point
Arrive at the Cape of Good Hope Reserve and hike or take the Flying Dutchman funicular (optional) to the iconic Cape Point lighthouse for panoramic views of the mythical meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Explore the reserve’s diverse flora and fauna and visit the nearby Cape of Good Hope, the most south westerly point of the African continent, a must see landmark.

Boulders Penguin Colony (Optional and Time permitting)
Visit Boulders Penguin Colony, home to 2000 plus endangered African Penguins, and view them in there natural habitat along designated walkways.

Return to a Cape Town city hotel.
