Your experience begins with welcome drinks on arrival, followed by an exclusive Vinothèque look where guests will have the rare opportunity to explore Weltevrede’s wine library and personally select vintage wines they would like to taste during dinner. From mature Chardonnays to treasured older vintages, this curated experience offers a unique journey through the estate’s winemaking history.
From there, Philip Jonker will guide guests on an exclusive underground cellar tour, sharing the story of Weltevrede, its terroir, wine philosophy, and the evolution of Chardonnay through the ages. Along the way, guests will enjoy our estate Chardonnays.
The evening concludes with an exquisite 5-course gourmet dinner by Kapokbos Restaurant.

Baie dankie vir n heerlike musiek aand in n pragtige kelder met heerlike Cap Classic! Ons is "in-kommers" en bly al 2 jaar heerlik in Robertson. Dis heerlik om klassieke musiek hier in die vallei te beleef. Ons hoop daar is vele meer! Die "snacks" was heerlik - dink net julle kan dit dalk voor die tyd doen by die Deli? En laat mense self "snack platters" bestel - vir n ekstra fooi. Dit was gaaf dat julle dit voorsien het - aangesien ons voor die tyd wel daar wou eet maar die Deli maak al 4 pm toe! An unforgettable experience -- a feast for all the senses! A heartfelt thank you to Philip Jonker, the driving force behind this wonderful initiative to invite the world-class pianist Christian-Peter Hiemstra to his Weltevrede winery for a piano recital. We hope for more such highlights. Christian-Peter Hiemstra played flawlessly and movingly; the audience was touched and enthralled. The stunning setting in and around the wine tasting arena -- an architectural highlight -- was the perfect finishing touch for the Weltevrede champagnes. At lunchtime, we enjoyed a three-course meal at star level at Kapokbos, and in the evening, the stars glittered in the sky above the magnificent Weltevrede winery. Christian-Peter Hiemstra's piano music still resonates with us today.
