Activity Description

Take the ultimate leap of faith over the spectacular Batoka Gorge with the Gorge Swing at Victoria Falls. This adrenaline-charged activity is one of the most thrilling experiences in Africa, offering a pure free-fall drop of approximately 70 metres before swinging out in a massive arc over 100 metres above the Zambezi River.

Unlike a bungee jump, the Gorge Swing begins with a dramatic vertical free fall — guests step off the platform and drop straight down before the harness catches and converts the fall into a powerful pendulum swing across the gorge. The sensation combines the stomach-dropping thrill of a skydive with the speed and smooth arc of a giant swing.

The experience begins with a full safety briefing and professional harness fitting by qualified guides. After safety checks, guests walk to the edge of the platform suspended above the gorge, choose their jump style (forward, backward or tandem), and take the leap.

Total duration of the activity is approximately 45–60 minutes including registration, briefing and preparation.
