Activity Description

Experience an exciting wildlife encounter just outside Johannesburg with a half-day tour to the Lion & Safari Park, located approximately 40 minutes from Sandton and Johannesburg.

This popular wildlife attraction offers visitors the opportunity to see a variety of African animals in a natural bushveld environment, including lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras and several antelope species.

Guests are collected from hotels in Johannesburg, Sandton or Pretoria and transferred to the Lion & Safari Park. Upon arrival, visitors enjoy a guided game drive through the park’s wildlife areas, where experienced guides provide fascinating information about the animals and conservation efforts.

The park is home to several lion prides and provides excellent opportunities to observe these majestic animals at close range in their natural habitat.

After the game drive, guests may also have time to visit the park’s facilities, including the viewing decks, restaurants or curio shops before returning to Johannesburg.

The tour lasts approximately 4–5 hours including transfers.
