Enjoy a memorable half-day wildlife experience at the Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve, located in the Cradle of Humankind area just outside Johannesburg.

This private game reserve is home to a wide variety of African wildlife including white rhino, lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, giraffes, zebras and numerous antelope species. The reserve offers excellent opportunities to observe animals in a natural bushveld environment while learning about wildlife conservation.

Guests are collected from hotels in Johannesburg, Sandton or Pretoria and transferred to the Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve. Upon arrival, visitors enjoy a guided game drive through the reserve, where experienced guides share insights into the animals and the surrounding ecosystem.

The reserve is particularly well known for its successful white rhino conservation programme, offering guests a chance to see these impressive animals up close.

After the game drive, guests may have time to visit the reserve’s facilities including restaurants, curio shops and viewing areas before returning to Johannesburg.

The tour lasts approximately 4–5 hours including transfers.
