Activity Description

Enjoy a memorable Big Five safari experience at Aquila Private Game Reserve, located approximately two hours from Cape Town in the scenic Karoo region.

Guests are collected from hotels in Cape Town City, Waterfront, or nearby areas and travel through beautiful mountain landscapes toward the reserve. Upon arrival at Aquila Private Game Reserve, guests are welcomed with refreshments before departing on a guided open-vehicle game drive led by an experienced ranger.

Aquila is home to a variety of wildlife including the famous Big Five – lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard, as well as giraffe, zebra, antelope and many bird species.

During the game drive, guests explore the reserve while learning about wildlife behaviour, conservation and the unique ecosystem of the Western Cape.

After the safari, guests return to Cape Town with unforgettable memories of their African wildlife experience.

The full experience lasts approximately 5–6 hours including transfers and the game drive.
