It is fantastic to see a chardonnay appellation wine developing in South Africa, led by Weltevreden's Phillip Jonker for the Robertson valley. The Calcrete appellation is also being developed to be true to its origins in Chablis. We learnt much more in the Masterclass where both Calcrete and Chablis were tasted.
