Cape Kayaks & Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Mountain Marine Protected Area from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay Beach where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3- 4 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay and then we return to the starting point.
The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what The Mother City has to offer.
The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens, and one of the favorite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside (Benguela) dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

It has been a beautiful experience despite it was not a sunny morning, luckily the sea was calm and perfect for kayaking The encounter with various animals in the sea was great ! - Jean
A great few hours on the water. I paddled with this team on last year's vacation and was determined to join them again. The guys are supremely professional and super safety conscious. I requested a single kayayak which they obliged me with but only after they observed me paddle out to a kelp line and back. The equipment is safe and stable unlike much of the "tippy" surf ski style yaks being deployed by other operators. The commentary out on the water was very knowledgable and informative and we were able to observe seals, dolphins and penguins at close quarter. We could also see and hear whales albeit they were too distant in the time available. Another terrific experience enjoyed by all in the group. I heartily recommend this activity and company. John, UK paddler. - John
I went kayaking 3 times in a month with Kayak Adventures. We saw so many dolphins, penguins and seabirds . I saw a shipwreck, naval vessels and ships of all kind. If you're in reasonable shape, you'll be able to handle it with no problem as the pace is slow and relaxed. I had a blast. - Alan
I had such an amazing time. The guides were friendly and knew everything about sea life especially where we were paddling.. Highly recommend as one of the best things to do in Cape Town...thank you!! - Jen
