Vredenheim Animal Farm offers a range of activities that will entertain the whole family.
We have a variety of farm animals ranging from chickens and ducks to cows and goats. All our animals are tame and friendly.
At Vredeheim Animal Farm your children can play in our play park which includes a bike track, jungle gym and sandpit. They can also meet the different farm animals and feed them. We have created a safe environment where children can run free while mom and dad sit back and enjoy a glass of wine a farm made “rooster koek” and the beautiful scenery.

Pensioners can be paid on arrival, no need for a booking. Kids under 1 year is for free.

We pre-booked the Cat Park and the animal farm. We enjoyed the Cat Park, but felt the animal farm was a waste of money. In fact, there was no one checking tickets. It looked like most people were just walking in without paying. For the price, animal feed could at least have been included. - Christopher

The experience was great but visitors could use more staff assistance in terms of directing them which side to go. Also I don't think its a good idea to be taking booking while you are busy with maintenance on the farm its self . this is Heath and Safety hazard. - Zimasa
Very warm welcome from all the staff on duty. Lovely layout of the place! Limited food options on the menu and for us as a couple bringing our child to play, it didn't make sense to buy a bottle of wine. Maybe consider selling wine by the glass as well, so parents can still enjoy a refreshment without it being too much? And maybe add a couple of more rubbish bins and a bin for the smokers?
