Blyde Dam Boat Cruise BCS

Swadini, Hoedspruit

Activity Description

Blyde Canyon Safaris, together with the Moletele community, offer scenic boat trips on the Blyde Dam. This is your opportunity to see the famous Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon from the angle it’s supposed to be seen: while you’re on the water, at the base of the towering mountains that form these breathtaking sights. Tick off those last couple of birds that have been eluding your bird list and enjoy seeing the hippo’s and crocodiles that make this dam their home.

We are passionate about nature and preserving the few untouched pieces that remain in South Africa. We aim to offer everyone the opportunity to experience the beauty that the Lowveld has to offer. We run several activities and excursions and through our sister company, Blyde Adventure Camp, adventure and leadership camps for large groups.

We offer daily trips at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Join one of our trips or book the entire boat for yourself. Use our friendly online booking system on this website, or contact our office to make your booking.

Customer Reviews

It's prefect place for neuter lovers , if any one vist wont regrets its beautiful place - Muhammad

Absolutely breathtaking scenery and definitely one for the booking list. The two guides on the boat were so very nice and nice crowd on the boat too. There was a film crew filming which did make delays and the process to pay the conservation fee and actually drive down to the parking area were the boats are, was a bit unorganised and took far too long and we did run late. It was worth the wait though but they could improve on the checking in process and make it smoother. We were told to bring cash for the conservation fee and on arrival we were told only card so we had to put the fee for another participant on our bank card as she only brought cash. - Sharon
