Start: Guests are asked to meet at our central location (The Nourish’d Cafe at the Neighbourgood Hill Accommodation – Google: " 2 Hill Rd, Green Point, Cape Town, 8051, South Africa ") at 09:00 AM.
End: Guests will be dropped off at The Mojo Market (30 Regent Rd, Sea Point, Cape Town, 8060) between 19:00 and 19:30 PM

We were a family of 6 ranging in age from 26 to 60 - so I was hoping the tour would accommodate everyone's expectations. I was in contact with Nic prior to the tour asking a lot of questions - he was prompt in responding and happy to accommodate us. This tour was awesome!! It was even better than any of us expected. Thulani was an amazing guide! He was interesting, entertaining and so knowledgeable. Every stop was memorable - the beaches, fish and chips lunch, seals, penguins, the lighthouse, beer tasting (we loved the Jack Black beer!!), Cape of Good Hope, sundowner at an amazing viewpoint... and so much more! We had an amazing day exploring the Cape Peninsula. Our guide, Tulani, was the perfect host. He was able to share his local perspective and help us uncover places we would likely not have found on our own. Our adventure began at a fun and unique shop, the Strangers Club, for coffee where we discussed our interests and then set off on our adventure. We so appreciated the opportunity to learn about places from someone who had grown up in the region - and who is also an excellent storyteller! We had a wonderful mix of photo stops, shops, local restaurants, and main attractions like the African penguins and hiking around the Cape of Good Hope. The fish and chips in Kalks Bay were right from the boat and so good! Unique drinks along the way and a healthy, fresh picnic lunch - while we watched the waves crash and the local ostriches graze - were bonuses. And, we were so glad we had an experienced driver so we could enjoy the scenic views as he navigated the many curves on Chapman's Peak drive!! It was especially nice that we paid one fee and didn't have to worry about entrance fees, paying for lunch, fish n chips, etc. Everything was taken care of. We got to sit back and enjoy the day. We wholeheartedly recommend traveling with Local Knowledge and will book them again the next chance we get. - Cynthia
Highly recommended. Our guide Thulani was great and very knowledgeable. The craft beer and gin tastings and lunch were a nice touch. All entrance fees were covered so didn't have to muck around. This was the highlight of our trip. - Blair
I really enjoyed the Peninsula Tour with Local Knowledge! Apart from the stops on the tour which were perfect to get to know local places of the city/ the cape, I really enjoyed the company of my knowledgable tour guide! Luckily I got the chance to get a privat tour which made this trip definitely a unique and very customized experience. Everything was organized very well so I could just enjoy the day trip at the fullest. - I would definitely recommend this company and tour if you are interested in doing some activities/ get some insight off the beaten path of Cape Town. - Katharina
