Enjoy a delectable high tea with close friends at the Anthonij Rupert Tasting Room, situated on Anthonij Rupert Estate with the picture perfect Groot Drakenstein Mountains as its background.
Guests are served a beautifully displayed & inventive selection of sweet and savoury items.
The treats are freshly baked on the premises by our chefs who incorporate new treats seasonally.

CocoCuja (GF) Coconut Joconde Cake, Passion fruit mousse and coconut

Beetroot and Goats Cheese Madeleine (GF)

The cost includes a Premier Cru tea OR an Artisanal Coffee OR a glass of L’Ormarins Brut NV
A firm favourite on the menu is the L’Ormarins range of Cap Classique wines,
which can be enjoyed with each high tea experience and can be ordered directly from the tasting room staff on the day of your visit.
Booking is essential which needs to be made at least 48 hours in advance, and is ideally suited to groups of 4 to 10 guests.

Additional Grand Cru Tea selection and/ or freshly roasted artisanal coffee charged additionally at R28 per cup
Gratuity is discretionary and not included in the price per person
For parties of 8 or more guests, 10% gratuity will automatically be added to your bill.
Our High Tea service is presented and offered to a minimum of 4 guests on any given day, as all treats are freshly prepared

We wanted to go for High Tea at Mount Nelson or Table Bay Hotel as we had done before. Luckily they were booked out and we went to Anthonij Rupert. We are used to good service, but here the service was amazing. Unlike Mount Nelson, checking in at the lobby counter, we were greeted with a glas of sparkling wine. Here we were not a number, we felt like welcomed friends. Everything was explained in great detail. We felt very at home and will be back!
