The hourly rides depart from Wine Valley Adventures on Vrede en Lust Wine Estate, Franschhoek.
Taken at a leisurely pace, according to the capabilities of the riders, the trail will showcase the breathtaking view of the valley with the Simonsberg Nature Reserve as backdrop. Wine farming activities and grape cultivars can be pointed out and explained by our well trained guides as we decent down the valley through the vineyards.

What an amazing ride with wonderful views! Chantelle, our guide, was awesome and very knowledgeable on the surroundings (plants, animals). From our time we arrived, we were welcomed and taken care of. There was also no doubt that the animals on the farm are well taken care of, which was great to see. We have ridden with some cowboy operators but this was a perfectly organised, beautifully controlled ride in a spectacular setting. Having had a fall earlier in the year I was still feeling a little nervous, but Michelle is so calm and matched my daughter and me with perfect ponies, which made for a wonderful experience. We had some time to get to know our ponies and then there were various options to canter or gallop as desired. Michelle was so encouraging and gave me some amazing tips to improve my riding.
