Spirit of Victoria
The Spirit of Victoria is a traditionally designed 58ft Gaff Rigged Schooner, easily identified in the bay by her red brick brown sails. Built to seat 45 passengers, Spirit of Victoria offers regular sailing trips to Table Bay. The bar aboard offers sparkling wine, beer and cold drinks. Spirit of Victoria offers an authentic, laid-back sailing experience to remember.
This sailing trip takes you from the historic Victoria & Alfred Waterfront out to sea on a short cruise across the bay and back. The cruise provides spectacular mountain and city views as well as fantastic photographic opportunities of The Mother City with Table Mountain as a backdrop. They do not offer a specific destination. Typically they motor out of the Harbour and across Table Bay towards Milnerton lighthouse, then return to the protection of Granger Bay Fabulous Table Mountain and city views must do" trip whilst visiting Cape Town.
Do take medication beforehand if you have previously experienced motion sickness.
The experience was wonderful for all my friends, inspite of the gloomy and a bit chilly weather. The music and refreshments were entertaining ?. The beautiful view of Cape Town by night was also inviting more especially with the hilarious tour guide. The moment will not be easily forgotten. - Prudence

The operator cancelled our tour due to unsafe wind conditions. We were notified a few hours in advance and refund was made quickly. We were sorry to have missed it but certainly appreciate the judgement and communication of the crew and staff - teri
We really enjoyed the beautiful and fun sailboat trip with captain Lucky and his crew with a glass of sparkling wine and great music at sunset and were even lucky to see whales! We can recommend the tour. Note: If you would like a non-alcoholic drink (e. g. for children), you must bring your own. - May
The crew were amazingly fun and safe. I was dissapointed to not actually use the sails. Everything else was wonderful. - Megan
