Groups experience a unique and leisurely way to see the Simonsberg Valley as they journey through rolling vineyards, stopping at some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates. The itinerary covers up to three wine estates in the Simonsberg Valley, each with a character as rich and individual as the wines they produce. Several of the wine estates on the itinerary boast world-class restaurants and a lunch or picnic stop can be included upon request.

FORMAT
Groups will visit up to 3 wine estates in the Franschhoek Valley over the course of the day by double-decker tram and open-air tram bus.

The tour is strictly a wine-tasting experience and does not host celebration events such as birthdays or bachelor/bachelorette parties as the estates visited are primarily wine-tasting venues and not party venues. In order to properly exercise their duties, the Franschhoek Wine Tram staff members place a legitimate expectation on all guests not to behave in an unacceptably loud, disruptive, offensive, or intoxicated manner. Should any such behaviour be exhibited the Franschhoek Wine Tram reserves its right to suspend or withdraw its services. All vehicles are fitted with CCTV and monitored throughout the service.

CANCELLATION POLICY (All services including chauffeur/transfer services):
5 days + = 100% REFUND
Less than 5 days before scheduled TIME SLOT = No Refund

Please send a cancellation email to info@winetram.co.za including your booking ID on the subject to request a refund.

Passengers may dine at one of several restaurants on the tour. To avoid disappointment, it is highly recommended that passengers make reservations for lunch/picnic at least 24-48 hours in advance. Food or open alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the tour though food and drinks are available for purchase at the wine estates. Wine tastings can be purchased at each wine estate directly.

Tickets are to be collected on the day of your tour. Please be at the Ticket Office +/-20 minutes prior to your departure time.

Please take note that pets are not permitted on the tour.
