I've made an online booking for 2 people for the 1-hour boat cruise and lunch at Quay Four Restaurant. The boat leaves at 11:30 and 14:30. We did the morning cruise because we still had a long drive to Worcester to attend a wedding. The cruise lasts for exactly an hour, so it is easy to fit it into a day of fun at the waterfront. You'll need to check in around 20 minutes early at the ticket booth, which is at the habour near the amphitheatre. It was easy enough to find! The views of Table Mountain are awesome from the outset, and it didn't take long for Lion's Head to come into view. We went on a clear day, so you could see out all the way to Robben Island. There was a cash bar onboard, and the drinks were reasonably priced. Unfortunately, we didn't see any dolphins, but we saw seals playing around in the water and some were stealing fish from I&J. There was a fun atmosphere on the boat and the crew were really cool, especially Emmanuel? telling us about the hippos in the ocean (very funny). The cruise included a 3-course lunch meal at Quay Four Restaurant. At first, we were seated downstairs, but one of the friendly staff directed us to the upstairs restaurant. For starters we had mussel chowder, mains - grilled hake with a lemon butter cream sauce & herbed pureed potato. For dessert we had Creme Brule. The food was delicious! We enjoyed this experience so much that we bought another experience for my cousin as a wedding gift! - Mandie
